Welcome to the website of the William Fremd High School Band program from Palatine, Illinois. The Fremd Bands consist of 170 students enrolled in four curricular bands and numerous extra-curricular ensembles. Accolades for the Fremd Bands include being selected five times to perform at the University of Illinois "SuperState Concert Band Festival" (2023, 2020, 2019, 2008, 2007), performances at the ILMEA All-State Conference (Wind Symphony 2023, 2009 & Jazz Ensemble 2017), as well as numerous awards for the Viking Marching Band and Jazz Bands. The Fremd Bands are under the direction of Matthew Moore and J.T. Teichert.
